An excellent Project Manager role has just come up for an international prestigious Railway construction consultancy client based in London.

A truly excellent role for a candidate wishing to join the company either on a permanent basis (£50-60,000 p.a.) or Contract basis (£400-£500 per day)

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Communication with senior stakeholders
Issuing weekly and monthly reports as necessary
Oversight of the project’s maintenance team - this will involve escalating urgent faults and monitoring asset performance amongst other duties.
Managing the relationship with the Route Asset Management team (RAMS) - Holding regular meetings with them and addressing any concerns about project design and/or maintenance issues
Lead the development and the implementation of the Transition strategy for transfer of responsibilities from the project to the route after substantial completion
Work with Network Rail route’s Works Delivery team, who will take over maintenance of the new station, to help ensure their readiness to accept the new assets and maintain them from late 2018 onwards
Lead the Spares Strategy to agree the list of strategic spares to be handed over to the route at project completion
Lead Access & Maintenance Strategy ensuring information is handed over with the station to allow it to be effectively and safely maintained
Support the production of an Electronic Asset Database, a detailed asset model which will be handed over to the maintainer

Network Rail experience (Essential) If you do not meet this criteria, unfortunately your application will not be considered
Comfortable working with wide range of client and contractor project staff to monitor and drive performance (Essential)
Comfortable working with senior staff to develop strategies (Essential)
Experience on major programmes (Desirable - such as Thameslink etc)
Understanding of NR route and maintenance organisations (Desirable)
Scheduling experience (working with a Planner) (Desirable)
Understanding of principals of asset management (Desirable)
