An internationally known, Premium Global Retailer is recruiting for a Finance Analyst based in London. A truly excellent role for a candidate wishing to progress and learn detailed analysis, which goes into building a profitable business with a global expansion strategy.

Candidates from a Retail environment will be considered but not a necessity and the client wants someone with an excellent Excel background and who has an analytical mindset.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing a predominantly in the costs side of the business, there will of course be progression in the team too.

The learning in this role is a steep curve and lots of data to analyse (internationally). Your business partnering skills will be honed and your commentaries and reporting through analysis, affecting the business immediately.

Heavily involved in modelling and working with large data sets and making sense of them.
You will be involved in the preparation of the monthly management pack in terms of commentary and reporting of operational costs across the retail group.
Heavily involved in Business partnering with stakeholders including Directors, Sales and Marketing, Controller and Managers.
There will be opportunities for process improvements and other projects which have a positive impact on the wider business
Involved with preparation of the cost centre budgets and half year forecast
Analytical review and compiling and consolidating the CAPEX budget & forecast across all streams
Involved in the group budget presentations
Involved in the long term strategic planning and assisting with unique business plans including feasibility analysis in conducting business in new areas
You will be the Budgeting systems expert & be a point of contact for the control system
You will be conducting monthly cost control and meetings reviewing variances with the wider business stake holders including the Sales and Marketing
You will be monitoring and reporting on cost centre performance and also the costing for sourcing and designing premium garments.
Analysis and Reporting of group Capex
This role will evolve and so further duties will be expected of you. This client is large but flexible so can make sure you evolve with it’s growth.

Requirements:

Actively studying ACA/ACCA/CIMA or international equivalent.

Essential:

Advanced Excel skills and working with data sets, including manipulation

Desirable:

SAP

Macro level Excel (Editing VBA - Visual Basic)
