BlueCrest Recruitment are recruiting for a Finance Manager for a very fast growing and established International media client that services a very highly profitable market. The company is based in Central London. The group has many agencies under it.

This role will suit a Newly qualified candidate who wants to progress into managing more staff or a candidate with experience managing. Experience can be from accountancy practice managing teams or from industry managing 2 for example.

The culture is excellent, working within a busy environment. This role is vacant due to an internal promotion. There have been many promotion in the Finance department generally to keep in line with the double digit growth it has been experiencing for many years.

The successful International Finance Manager will be a Qualified Accountant with experience in leading a successful team.

You will be responsible for the overall management of the client’s predominantly European function.

The client deals with over a 1000 projects at any one time.

Core responsibilities

Involved In the completion of monthly management accounts
Overlooking work prepared by the Accountants and Analysts, managing a team of around 6-7 staff. BUT please don't worry, there are managers that will ease you into it, So if you have managed a team of 2. This is fine, eventually you will manage a bigger team. the team are self sufficient, you will be reviewing or be a point of contact. so its not that challenging.
Timely and accurate submission of the statutory accounts including the annual audits.
Involved in the quarterly forecasts and reporting these figures to business heads
Update senior stakeholders on Financial information and progress
Playing an active part on process improvements
Responsible for team development and appraisals
Exposure to Corporation tax
Involved in annual returns, new incorporation and looking after statutory notices with regards to Companies house.
Requirements

Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ CIMA/ ACA/ ICAS)
Strong technical knowledge on GAAP
Strong IT skills Including Excel Proactive attitude
Excellent ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A strong team player who has good team building skills
